Successfully transformed more than 50 best-selling products such as Nimesulide capsules, Nifedipine sustained-release tablets, Yupingfeng granules, Aesculium tablets, cefuroxime axetil tablets, etc. In recent years, the patented new drugs developed by our professors, such as "TCM Compound Tiaozhicapsules", "Chuanping dropping pills" and "Xiangfen Cream", have also been successfully transformed into enterprises, and Sino-US industry-university-research cooperation (AUSTARPHARMA joint student training base has been established in the United States. Pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical analysis graduate students are selected each year to go to the United States for one year of training with "2+1" or "3+1", so that students can get a high level of academic and practical training), product technical cooperation and title supervision.

Our university actively participates in social welfare activities and gives full play to the functions of the university in serving society. In 2003, SARS, 2009, Wenchuan Earthquake, 2014, Dengue Fever, Ebola, aid to Xinjiang, Africa and Yao, teachers, students and alumni of GDPU actively participate in disaster relief, playing their due responsibilities and obligations, and reflecting the professional spirit of Guangzhou Medical staff. In addition, the science and technology of our university has benefited Liannan Yao Autonomous County, and the two sides have jointly built Guangdong ethnic medicine and health industry base. The first affiliated Hospital of GDPU has hosted the People's Hospital of Liannan County, and has set up the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine Resources in Liannan County, which has greatly promoted the development of medicine and health in Liannan County.
