Sino-foreign Joint Talent Training Programs

In order to vigorously improve the level and standard of running GDPU, the faculty of GDPU endeavour to comprehensively improve the quality of international education, and meet the needs of the development of medical globalization. They actively introduce advanced foreign educational concepts and training models of talents, strive to build a first-class international personnel training platform, and are committed to cultivating bilingual and composite outstanding students with international educational background and worldwide perspective. In addition, GDPU provides a green channel for students who want to develop entrepreneurship in the future of global pharmaceuticals.

At present, our school cooperates with high-level universities in the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries to carry out a multi-school, credit transfer, degree mutual conferment and joint international class project (3+1 undergraduate double degree program, 3+2 undergraduate and master continuous study program, etc.), which has created a new international talent training education model of our university. A large number of outstanding students have successfully obtained bachelor's and master's degrees from well-known foreign universities, demonstrating good career competitiveness and development potential.

Education of International Students in China

Since 2011, our university officially has been enrolling international students. So far, more than 700 international students from more than 40 different countries such as the United States, Russia, Pakistan and India have been enrolled to study bachelor's degree or Chinese language, of which more than 100 international students have successfully graduated from our university and are working in medical related positions around the world or further study. The International Exchange and Cooperation Department (School of International Education) is the centralized management department of international students of our university, responsible for coordinating the management of international student affairs of our university. The overall goal of international students education is to cultivate international compound professionals with solid basic knowledge, standardized skills and good professional quality, to lay a solid foundation for their further study, development in pharmaceutical related industries and to cultivate cultural exchange envoys who "know China and love China".
