ZHAI Lixiang, male, born in October 1971, Jiangsu Jiangyan, Communist Party member, university education, Master of Medicine, national senior vocational instructor, researcher. Currently serving as a member, standing committee member, Deputy Party Secretary, and President of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University. Started working in July 1995. Previously held positions as Secretary of the Youth League Committee and Director of the Student Affairs Office at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine; Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office (Graduate Employment Guidance Center); Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Dean, Vice Dean and Director of Zhuhai Hospital, and Party Secretary of the Second Clinical Medical College (Second Affiliated Hospital, Provincial Hospital, Provincial Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine) of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.

During the same period: From April 2017 to April 2019, served as a member, standing committee member, and Deputy Party Secretary of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. From September 2013 to November 2013, attended the  Provincial Party School's training class for department-level leaders. From October 2020 to January 2021, attended the 48th session of the Central Party School's young and middle-aged cadres training class. Assumed the current position in April 2022.

In charge of overall administrative work of the university; responsible for the Audit Office, Hospital Management Office, First Affiliated Hospital, Second Affiliated Hospital, and Outpatient Department; liaison with the Clinical Medical College.
