LIU Sheng, male, Han ethnicity, born in January 1970, Shandong Province, Communist Party member, Ph.D., professor. Currently serving as a member, standing committee member, and Party Secretary of University.

Educational background: Graduated from Yantai Normal College (Ludong University) Chinese Department in 1991, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree. Completed the Master's degree program in Chinese Department at Shandong Normal University in 1994. Obtained a Ph.D. in Chinese Department from Fudan University in 1997. Attended the Central Party School's Young Cadres Training Class from March 2017 to February 2018.

Work experience: Joined the Department of Literature and Art at South China Normal University in July 1997, serving as a lecturer, associate professor, and professor in the Department of Literature and Art. Since January 2006, appointed as Deputy Party Secretary of the College of Literature at South China Normal University. From November 2008 to April 2015, served as Vice President and Standing Committee Member of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. From April 2015 to March 2018, served as Party Secretary of Huizhou College. Since March 2018, appointed as Party Secretary of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University.

Main research achievements and honors: Completed three projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation, Ministry of Education, and provincial departments. Published multiple academic works and research papers. Received various honors, including the Huo Yingdong Education Fund Teaching Award and the Advanced Individual Award in Management and Education at South China Normal University.

In charge of overall work of the university's Party Committee; liaison with the School of Marxism.
