GAN Yuanhong, male, was born in July 1967 in Zijin County, Guangdong. He is a member of the Communist Party of China and holds a university degree with a Bachelor of Law from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and a Master of Public Health from Sun Yat-sen University. He is currently a member of the Party Committee, Standing Committee, and Vice President of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University . He began working in 1990 and held various positions, including Deputy Director of the Office of the Guangdong Provincial Health Department. In August 2006, he served as Director of the Office of the Guangdong Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Director of the Finance and Planning Office of the Guangdong Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission, and Director of the Information Statistics Office. In January 2021, he assumed his current position.

He is in charge of the Finance Department, Security Department (Armed Forces), Zhongshan Campus Office, Zhongshan Campus Experimental Center, Information Center, and serves as the contact person for the School of Medical Information Engineering, School of Food Science, and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
