Guangdong Pharmaceutical University Held the 2023 Comprehensive Campus Job Fair in Zhongshan Campus
On May 11th, the 2023 comprehensive campus job fair of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University (Zhongshan campus) was held at the athletics field. Zhai Lixiang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of the university, Wu Hongxing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, went to the site to guide the work. Participants of the event also encompassed the personnel from the Career Services, Zhongshan Campus Office and deans of all schools, graduating class mentors and the 2023 graduates.

Zhai stressed that all functional departments should create a good atmosphere for all employees to participate in employment work and provide a full range of employment services; Every school should firmly grasp the recruitment opportunities offered by employers in the activity with professional characteristics, and actively strengthen ties with employers to make more high-quality jobs available to graduates; Graduates should actively adapt to the new employment situation with a new mindset, enhance their awareness of employment and actively seek employment as soon as possible. He also expressed the hope that alumni would make frequent visits to Alma Mater to guide younger students through career planning lectures, experience sharing forums, and other forms to understand industry development trends, scientifically plan their career, and achieve more adequate and higher quality employment; In addition, employers were supposed to actively create a favorable employment environment to attract more outstanding students to serve as a reserve force for quality development.
During the job fair, Zhai Lixiang also called the Career Services, Zhongshan Campus Office and deans of all schools to hold a symposium on employment, to understand the employment situation of Zhongshan campus graduates, analyze and judge the current employment situation and the difficulties and pain spots in the employment work, and finally to study the countermeasures to solve the problems.

The atmosphere at the job fair was warm and orderly. Graduates who came to apply for jobs carried carefully prepared resumes, shuttled among them, actively communicated with employers, understood their situation and their needs in detail, and actively expressed their desire to work. The job fair also set up a stall to provide consultation of job and entrepreneurship policy from the Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau for graduates.
After online applications and school reviews, 86 employers, including China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation and Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group Corporation attended the job fair, including eight state-owned enterprises, 53 privately-owned/private joint-stock enterprises, six joint ventures, seven foreign-founded enterprises, three listed enterprises, one public institution and eight other enterprises. Graduates embraced a total of 2,600 job choices. The Zhongshan campus had 1,124 graduates, and more than 500 people attended this year's job fair.
