WU Hongxing, male, Han ethnicity, born in April 1964, Xingning, Guangdong Province, Communist Party member, undergraduate education, master's degree, associate researcher. Comrade Wu Hongxing studied at Guangdong Medical College from 1982 to 1987, obtaining an undergraduate degree and a bachelor's degree in medicine. He has been working at Guangdong Pharmaceutical University since 1987 and has served as Deputy Director of the General Affairs Office and Deputy Director of the Infrastructure Office of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University. Concurrently held positions include Deputy Chairman of the University's Labor Union and Acting Head of the Labor Union. In July 2002, he became the Director of the Adult Education Department (Director level) and the Dean of the Continuing Education College of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University. In November 2004, he became the Deputy Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Director of the Supervision and Audit Office of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University. In January 2006, he became the Deputy Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Director of the Supervision Office of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, concurrently serving as the Deputy Chairman of the Labor Union. During this period, he participated in the training program for young and middle-aged cadres organized by the Provincial Party School in 2005. From November 2008 to September 2009, he was appointed by the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department and the Provincial Party Committee Education Working Committee to serve as a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Zhaoqing Medical College. From 2007 to 2010, he studied in the on-the-job program of Public Administration at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, obtaining a Master's degree in Public Administration. In May 2013, he became the Director of the Personnel Office of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University. In June 2014, he became a member, standing committee member, Deputy Party Secretary, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University. In June 2018, he became a member, standing committee member, and Deputy Party Secretary of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University.

Comrade WU Hongxing has long been engaged in university party building and higher education research. He presided over the research projects "Research on the System of Punishing and Preventing Corruption in Higher Education" (2007) and "Research on Countermeasures for the Construction of a Clean Government Culture in Guangdong Universities" (2011) sponsored by Guangdong University Party Building Research Association, and published more than ten papers. In September 1996, he received the commendation of "New Talent of Southern Guangdong Education Circle" awarded by the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Provincial Department of Higher Education; in December 2007, he received the commendation of "Advanced Individual in the Disciplinary Inspection and Supervision Work of the Guangdong Province Education System"; in January 2008, he received the first prize of excellent research results in the discipline inspection and supervision system of Guangdong universities; in June 2011, he received the commendation of "Advanced Worker in the Disciplinary Inspection and Supervision System of Guangdong Province"; in March 2015, he received the honorary  title of "Friend of Outstanding Female Workers of the Guangdong Province Labor Union."

In charge of the Party Committee's Organization Department, Propaganda (United Front) Department, Student Affairs Department (Office) (Graduate Student Affairs Department), Career Guidance Center for Graduating Students, Labor Union (Family Planning Office), Youth League Committee, and Red Cross Society; assisted in managing the Audit Office; liaison with the School of Foreign Languages and the College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
